Using the internet in your bibliography

Hi All,
Miriam called me and asked how to use/annotate a website in her bibliography. She has a news article online she wants to use.

Below is the link to the BBC news article
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/2331113.stm
If you were to use the information from this article, the annotated Bibliography would look like this:

Primary Resource
“Chemists Honour Sherlock Holmes”, BBC News, Article by Christine McGourty, Oct 13, 2002, http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/2331113.stm
This article declares recognition of Sherlock Holmes’s forensic methods by the Royal Society of Chemistry.

Your annotated Bibliography should have three sections:

Primary Resources:
(each source listed in alphabetical order)

Primary Resources from Secondary Resources (this is like getting a picture out of a biography)
(each source listed in alphabetical order)

Secondary Resources:
(Resources listed in alphabetical order)

If you have more than one page, you should have your pages numbered. Also, please have the title on all pages up in the header just in case pages get separated.

One last note is that you NEED 3-5 copies of your process paper and your bibliography for competition. This way, each judge (and ideally, you) have a copy. Always bring LOTS more than you need in case of disaster! (spills and such)
